Do you know how to get a guitar player to turn down? Give them sheet music! Guitarists' sightreading abilities are often the topic of jokes, but there are many factors as to why guitar players lack the reading proficiency and theoretical understanding of their counterparts on other instruments. In this discussion we will breakdown 5-key reasons learning these skills are a challenge for guitarists and how to overcome these roadblocks.
