Creating a Culture of Belonging means creating psychologically safe relationships with members of a group. Using a culture of belonging framework (Kennedy & Jain-Link, 2021), popular music educators will consider how songwriting supports a Culture of Belonging. Attendees will be challenged to reflect on their own teaching practices to assist in developing ensemble coaching skills.
